| The 2008 O'Reilly MLRA Series Champion John Anderson defended the colors of the MLRA by capturing the AAA Missouri State Championships at Sedalia's State Fair Speedway on Sunday night. Drivers from as far away as Minnesota and Wisconsin were on hand, not to mention talented drivers like Billy Moyer, Dave Eckrich, and Will Vaught but there was no denying John Anderson on a beautiful night at the State Fair Speedway. | This past weekend the team traveled north to the Cedar Lake Speedway for the USA Nationals. On the opening night WDRL show John posted 4th fastest time and then ran to a 17th place finish in the A Feature. On Championship night John narrowly missed making the show. |
| 1 Win and a String of Top 10s for John Through July |

| With the exception of a 16th place finish at the July 2nd show at I-80 Speedway, John and the Shop Quik team have finished inside the top 10 throughout the month of July, including a win at the 24 Raceway and a strong run at the Lucas Oil/MLRA event at Lucas Oil Speedway. A northern swing for the WDRL is up next for the team, ending in the $50,000 to win USA Nationals at the end of the month. |
| John Wins the Alphabet Soup Race at I-80! 3rd at Doniphan |

| Friday night May 22 opened the season for the O'Reilly NCRA series and with it came a 3rd place finish by John. Two days later at the Alphabet Soup race at I-80 Speedway John took home the win in the WDRL/MLRA/NCRA event featuring over 60 drivers. He now leads the O'Reilly NCRA Point Standings and is only 24 points back in 3rd in the O'Reilly MLRA Standings. |
| John Misses Diamond Nationals Field by 2 Spots Twice |

| John and the Shop Quik crew competed at the Diamond Nationals over the past weekend. In the heat race John ran 5th with the top 3 advancing to the Main Event. In running the B Feature he once again finished 5th, only 2 spots out of the A Feature. |
| 5th Place Finish at Adrian Speedway |

| John started out with a 5th place finish in his heat race at the Jack Vaughn Memorial at Adrian Speedway. From there he went to the 2nd B Feature where he picked up the win, following that up with a 5th place finish in the A Feature. |
