Shop Quik Racing Team Finishes Holiday Weekend With Wins!

The Kansas based Shop Quik Racing Team and driver John Anderson finished out a 4 race swing over the Independence Day Weekend with 2 wins to bring his season total up to six.

With the win Anderson now sits firmly at the top of the O'Reilly Auto Parts National Championship Racing Association Point Standings, 80 points ahead of fellow competitor Kelly Boen. In six O'Reilly NCRA events he has finished in the top 5 every time, with 2 of those being wins.

John picked up the feature win at the famed Belleville High Banks on July 1 after dominating most of the race ahead of Al Purkey and Boen. On Tuesday night July 3 the team traveled to the next event at Enid Speedway Park to secure another victory.

The final show of the swing was to be ran on July 4 but rain showers in the area eventually dampened the track causing the show to be rescheduled for Sunday August 5 at 81 Speedway.

John also had a 3rd place finish at the Lincoln County Raceway on Friday night and a 2nd place finish at the Junction Motor Speedway on Saturday night.
