Shop Quik Racing Team Goes Two for Three in Nebraska Swing

John Anderson and the Greg Junghans owned Shop Quik Racing Team put together a solid 3 days of racing this past weekend as he picked up two big wins and a runner-up finish.

On Friday night August 3rd the team competed on the first night of the King of the Hill Shootout at Junction Motor Speedway in McCool Junction, Nebraska. John picked up the win in the first heat race and then drove to the A Feature victory over good friend Kelly Boen. It was Anderson's first victory at JMS in the O'Reilly TORA/NCRA/MLRA sanctioned event.

On Saturday night August 4th the team returned to Junction Motor Speedway for Championship Night at the King of the Hill Shootout. John once again won his heat race but this time the tables were turned in the Main Event as Kelly got around John to take the win. Nonetheless the Shop Quik team turned in another top performance in their second place effort.

On Sunday night August 5th the team traveled east to the Beatrice Speedway in Beatrice, Nebraska to compete in an O'Reilly MLRA sanctioned event. John showed true grit in once again tasting victory at the 3/8 mile.

The team wrapped up the weekend with 2 wins and a second place finish. Anderson also overtook the O'Reilly TORA points lead while at the same time working on Boen's lead in the O'Reilly NCRA standings.

The team now travels to the Comp Cams Topless 100 at the Batesville Speedway in Batesville, Arkansas on August 17-19, 2007.
