After dominating the competition during the inaugural Latemodelracer.com (LMR) Gary Jacob Memorial Central Rankings campaign over the summer season, John Anderson towed eight hours south to Enid Speedway Park in north central Oklahoma to participate in one of the final GJM Central Rankings events of the 2007 racing season.
The O'Reilly NCRA Late Model Series closed out their season on Sunday afternoon October 28 at the Enid Speedway Park in Enid, Oklahoma and it was the same song but a different verse for the Shop Quik Racing Team and driver John Anderson.
The headlining division of the evening was the O'Reilly TORA Late Model series, showcasing some of the best talent in the central states area. John Anderson, who has been one of the most dominant drivers in the country in 2007, left nothing on the table as he clean swept both days of racing, winning nearly every race in which he started.
After scoring the running up spot the night before, John Anderson scored the WORLD Dirt Racing League Polydome Late Model Series win at Lakeside Speedway. Despite a series of yellows in the closing stages, Anderson holds off the field for the win.
The Shop Quik Racing Team and driver John Anderson have been an absolute roll this year. Their hard work and perseverance have once again paid off as they were named this week as the "Best of the Midwest" in the LateModelRacer.com Central Region rankings.
